Tera - What To Do When You Are Fresh Level 60.
Part 1
Solo Play - No real friend that playing Tera with you. Or no in-game friends wanna help you.
- First thing to do, make sure you get the starter gear for 60. You can use +9 Agnitor Set, Set from Balder's Temple or you can use +9 Tier 13 PVP weapon that you can buy using Bellicarium Credit. Don't forget to buy accessories (2 Earrings, 1 Necklace and 2 Rings) using Bellicarium Credits.
- +6 Fraywind Set + Accessories (all buy using Bellicarium Credits) will make your ilevel = 154.
- After you got enough ilvl ( item level ), queue (instance matching) for Channelwork (CW), Shattered Fleet (SF) and Kezzel Gorge (KG) (It's hard for newbie).
- You'll get Zenith's Chest if you can finish CW, SF and KG. You can either sell the chest to players/trade broker or open it for Mark of Bloodshed (MoB) (really good price, but the chance to get it is too low).
-Farm Cyasma Token from Kanstria, need to farm Valsekyr Credits (You can get it from Kanstria monster. You can craft Cyasma Token every 22 hours. Easy to say 1 Cyasma Token per day. You can trade Cyasma Token for Steadfast Set.
+Weapon - 12 Token
+Armor - 10 Token
+Glove - 4 Token
+Shoes - 4 Token
- Farm Molten Token from CW, SF and KG. You can trade Molten Token for Steadfast Set.
+Weapon - 24 Token
+Armor - 20 Token
+Glove - 12 Token
+Shoes - 12 Token
- Alternatively, you can queue (instance matching) for Labyrinth or Terror (LoT), to get Masterwork Alkahest (MWA), Master Enigmatic Scroll (MES) and some gold. You can sell MWA and MES to players for more gold.
- Do daily quest at Cutthroat Harbor and Allementhia. You can use the Credits to buy fodder.
Part 2
Team Play - You got real friend play with you, or you got in-game friend that wanna help you.
- What to do? All the steps in Part 1.
- Why there is Part 2? This is the reason.
- If you got friend, you can ask him to help you farm Cyasma Token at Kanstria. After you done craft Cyasma Token with your main character, ask help from your friend to boost your alternate character at Kanstria to craft Cyasma Token. Create new char, use Kanstria teleport scroll, party with your high level friend and let him kill the monster. After you reach 100 Valsekyr Credits and get Argon Essence, stop and back to town to craft Cyasma Token. Put Cyasma Token in bank. After you done, delete the character and re-create new character. Repeat this until you got enough Cyasma Token.

How to Craft Cyasma Token?
You need:
- 1 Argon Essence, drop from monster in Kanstria
- Efflorescing Agent, buy from NPC in Kanstria using 100 Valsekyr Credits.
- Click Efflorescing Agent in your bag and you'll get it after several seconds.

In Kanstria.

Tera Online 101 - Beginner's Tips
Sometimes, a little thing can make your life easier. Know it and you can have easier life in Tera.
- If you run out of teleport scroll, use "Unstuck" feature to return to closest town aka free town portal.
- In party, you can use page up to roll on loot, and page down to pass. You still can use this method to roll eventhough you died.
- If you doing gathering quest, instead of searching or waiting, you can change channel.
- Always gathering essence, ore and plant. Those can give you buffs, stackable 3 times.
- Instead of using Pegasus to fly from city to city, town to town, use town city's scrolls. It's faster than Pegasus.
- You can buy all town scrolls from main city. For example, all Velika's town scrolls can be bought from merchant at Velika City. it is same with Allementhia and Kaiator. Stocking them in Bank can ease you in future.
- Tired of running to dungeon entrance? Go to Specialty Store and buy dungeon's scroll.
- Got quest and don't know where to go? Click your quest using pointer and click to the clickable name.
- Back to town and wanna go again to previous Outpust? Use teleport master in town.
- If you control+left click a point on the map while zoomed in you’ll create a Point of Interest that your friends or party can check. It’ll mark a spot on the map.
- Use regen crystals when leveling. Brilliant crystal for MP regen and Vigorous crystal for HP regen. You'll never need to stop for regen.
- Don't have enough fingers to use skills? Chain your skills and you need less finger to use.
- When you die and ressurect back in town, be sure to use the cleric of restoration to restore your mana. using potion is expensive. Waiting cosume time.
- You can swap your crystal under the equipment screen. The numbers 1-5 right below your armor saves the state of your equipment.
- You can adjust the font size for the quest tracker alone, so all 7 maximum quests easily fit on your UI.
You cannot die from falling. Even from very high falls, you will hit the ground with 1 HP. So, don't worry to jump. They changed it, you will die for sure if the you drop high enough.

Prerequisite to use this guide:
- You must be healer or tanker ( Lancer or tanking warrior ). Or if you damage dealer, find a healer or tanker to accompany you when queue Instance Matching. Reason: Damage dealer will have difficulty to instance matching alone.
- You must have updated weapon and armors.

Level 1 - 20
Do Story Quest and Yellow Quest until level 20.
Level 20 - 26
Spam Bastion of Lok (BoL). There are 2 ways to run BoL:
- Create your own group.
- Party with tanker (Lancer or Warrior) and queue for Instance Matching (IM). Remember to queue warrior as tanker when IM.
Send repeatable quests after you hit level 26 or when it is full.
Level 26 - 32
Spam Sinestral Manor (SM). Do it like you run BoL. Before you reach 32, do your Story Quests.
Level 32 - 35
Do Story Quest and Yellow Quest at Chebika, Pora Elinu and Tulufan. Ignore BAMs quests if you are alone.
Level 35 - 42
Spam Cultist Refugees (CR). Do it like you run BoL and SM. Before you reach 42, do your Story Quests.
Level 42 - 48
Spam Necromancer Tomb (NT). Just like above. Before you reach 48, do your Story Quests.
Level 48 - 54
2 ways to do this:
- Spam Golden Labyrinth (GL). Before you reach 54, do your Story Quests. OR
- Grind the Devans in Dragonfall. Located at southeast of Dragonfall. Look map below.
Level 54 - 58
There are 2 ways at this level.
- Spam Saleron Sky Garden (SSG). Same step as previous dungeon. One thing different about SSG than previous dungeons are, you can party with level 60 to make the run faster. OR
- Go to Dragonfall and head to southeast of Dragonfall. Kill elite mobs there, Mystic Tyrant and 2 Bodyguards. Respawn in a couple of minute.
Level 58 - 60
Start doing Story Quest in Kanstria, Pathfinder Post and Zulfikar Fortress.
How to MORE Power Leveling?
- Always use EXP boost (30%, 50% or 100%). You can get it from the achievement box or buy it from Brokerage.
- Tera Club. You get 100% EXP for 1 hour every day.
- Always do Daily Quest from Corsairs' Stronghold (CS) and Kumasylum. Send the quest when you are going to sleep or before reset.

What is Corsairs’ Stronghold ?
Corsairs’ Stronghold is an equalized 20-versus-20 battle for
level 30 characters and above. When you enter the battleground, your skills
will scale to the level 60 versions, and all of your gear will be standardized
with the same number of crystal slots as the gear you were wearing when you
entered. Players between level 30 and 59 will be able to earn XP in Corsairs’
Stronghold, offering players a new leveling path.
Direct to the point, here what you need to know about Corsairs’ Stronghold.
Defending Round:

1- Make sure there are people defend both Inner Ladders. Preferably, 3 each Inner Ladder. Sometimes, leader will shout 3-1-3, it means 3 Right Inner Ladder, 1 on Inner Tank and 3 more on Left Inner Ladder.
2- Bring both Mid Tanks to Mid Pyre. This is to make sure the enemy don't take our tank and give them advantage to defeat your team.
3- Capture the Middle Pyre as soon as possible.
4- Do not use Canons until you see the ninja ship. You must always look for this ship, Ninja Ship aka Right Airship, because with 5 people on board, if they manage to invade inner, they surely can bring huge damage to your Crystal.
When enemy arrive:
1- After you shoot Ninja Ship, always use canons and tanks. Never leave them empty. Because Canons and Tanks are the best killer in Corsair's Stronghold. Die in Canons and Tanks, and make sure to repair it as soon as possible.
2- Don't chase your enemy, as you will create opportunity for enemy to capture Mid Pyre. Always hug Mid Pyre as if you are losing Mid Pyre, the enemy are easier to invade inner.
3- Inner Tank must always be prepared to shoot 4 things: Mid Pyre, Left Inner Ladder, Right Inner Ladder and Ninja Ship (Last resort if Canons cannot shoot it down).
If enemy manage to invade Inner Castle:
1- Do not panic. Send 3-5 person to kill them. Do not leave Both Inner Ladders EMPTY. At least 1 player must stay to guard it.
2- If too many invaders, use inner tank to shoot them.
3- If they got Mid Pyre and now focusing on Inner Gate, bring down the Inner Tank to block the gate. This will make enemies hard to enter Crystal.
4- Spam all AOE skills on Inner Gate.

4- Unexpected Tactics - This only occur when your Ninja Ship manage to invade inner castle, or when there is someone managed to climb Inner Ladder and attack Crystal. When this situation occur, your team must choose new tactic to use.
- All run to mid to capture Mid Pyre as enemy will resurrect in their base to help kill invaders. This make Mid Pyre less guarded. Take this opportunity to take Mid Pyre.
- All run to Inner Ladders (Both Inner Ladders) and straight to Crystal. Why you need to climb both inner ladders? It is because, if you climb on one side, the Inner Tank will surely shoot you. But if you go both ladders, Inner Tank can only shoot one side. The other side will be easier to climb.
THIS IS IMPORTANT !
- Corsair's Stronghold is not PURE PVP stage. Because killing cannot make you win. Defend or destroy Crystal is your main objective.
- If you want to capture Mid Pyre, DO NOT PVP. Just RUN across them. PVP is useless as they can resurrect at Mid Pyre. This will make capturing Mid Pyre even harder.
- In order to successfully takeover Mid Pyre, first you have to disable their Tanks and Canons. Repair them and use it. After that, all players SPAM F (exclude players on tanks and canons) on Mid Pyre because more players means fast capture. After you got the Mid Pyre, then you can start killing your enemies to clear the area.
- Easy to say, Run to Mid Pyre (No PVP) > Disable Tanks and Canons > Spam F on Mid Pyre > Clear the Area
- When you can reach the Crystal, DO NOT PVP. Focus on Crystal because Crystal is your main objective.
